Raisen Bread
1 1/2 cups water (warm)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Add these ingredients to a mixer. Mix gently on low. Let it rest while you are measuring your flour.
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Add to mixer using dough hook on low setting until well kneaded. Let rest 20 minutes
Then add raisens about 3/4 cup and knead some more. Shape into a prepared bread pan.
Let rise 30 minutes and bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
My son needed to make some bread for his Home Tech class.
So, I had him make some Raisen Bread. This is his favorite
bread so he was happy it turned out well.
