Crochet Placemat

Crochet Placemat (use I hook) Chain 18 two to turn Row 1 double crochet in each 16 end DC 5 in same hole repeat down other side. Slip stitch together (42 stitches) Row 2 chain 2 and DC in each 16 two DC 2 in each on end (5) repeat down other side. Slip stitch together. (52 stitches) Row 3 chain 4 and skip stitch to fasten. Continue (looks like loops around it) do 10 on end I do the same thing but in the next stitch so 5 of them are close together. Continue down other side. (should have 30 loops) Row 4 slip stich into loop and chain 2 and double crochet back in to that loop. So two double crochet in each loop. (should have ten with double crochet in each) On ends do three DC in each loop (8 total this way) go down other side and repeat 2 DC in each and 3 DC in last eight. (48 stitches) Row 5 chain 2 and double crochet in each stitch all the way around. (48 stitches) slip stitch to connect Row 6 chain 4 and skip a stitch and connect. (making loops again) make sure you end with 40 loops Row 7 slip stitch into next loop and chain two Dc back into that loop so there are 2 DC in each loop (10) this way and three DC on end loops (10 this way) repeat down other side two DC in each 10 and end 3 DC in end loops (100 stitches) Row 8 Chain 2 DC in each stitch all the way around. (100 stitches) Row 9 We are doing the loops skipping one stitch around the whole thing. (50 loops) Row 10 We are doing two DC in the first 11 loops and 3 DC in the end 14 loops repeat (126 stitches) Row 11 DC all the way around it (126 stitches) Row 12 Do the loops again all the way around it (64 loops) Row 13 2 DC in each loop (14) 3 DC in each loop on ends (18) repeat total stitches this round (164 stitches) Row 14 Edging chain 3 go back into same stitch and then slip stitch into next stitch and slip stitch into next stitch chain 3 slip stitch into same stitch and then slipstitch into next 2 stitches. So little nobby things are all around it. Hope you understand. I created this one and try my best to explain it.
