Have you heard of Samaritian's Purse?
They are having a pack a shoe box for a child, known as Operation Christmas Child and add $7.00 for shipping to Asia.
It sounds like a good cause so I found 2 shoe boxes and have covered them in wrapping paper.
1- Shoe Box (cover or not your choice)
2- Boy or Girl (label from website)
3- Fill with Gifts (they have a list of ideas to follow)
4- Include your $7 donation to help cover shipping
5- Drop Off (look for a local area or mail it to them)
If your interested you can go to www.samaritianpurse.org and click on the Operation Christmas Child. This is for a good cause.

Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry

The secret of this recipe is... I use left over grilled steak sliced very thin and yes! Beer. (sorry chicken broth works as a sub if you don't have beer)
First of all, I get a wok out and set it on Med heat and add Vegetable oil.
I cut up broccoli about 4 cups and place in wok stir them with a wood spoon and add 2 packets of splenda sugar (best sugar in the world) and place 1 1/2 tablespoons of garlic paste. Gently tossing add about 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and pour in 1 cup of beer (choice Bud light lime) Stir fry coating each in sauce in the bottom by gently stirring. Ok, Add beef and keep tossing gently. Now push everything up the sides of the wok so the middle is just sauce and about 2 tablespoons of corn starch.
mix only in the center of wok and if it appears too lumpy add more beer and 2 more spenda sugar packets. Stir in center of pan til cornstarch is dissolved. Mix all the ingredients in the pan gently til broccoli is well coated. Can I say this has the best flavor. Serve, may add more soy sauce if too sweet but I think it is perfect.

Betty Crocker
Lasagna Rolls & Garlic Bread

Here's a great recipe to make coming into fall. Serve with garlic bread & a salad. It's quick & easy too!
Lasagna Rolls
9 lasagna noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
1 jar (26 oz) pasta sauce
1 container (16 oz) ricotta cheese
1 1/4 shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Preheat over to 350 degrees F. Coat a 13×9 baking dish with cooking spray.
Prepare the noodles according to the packaging directions. Drain noodles. Rinse with cool water; drain again. Lay noodles flat on wax paper.
Cook the ground beef, onion, garlic in a skillet until browned. Drain fat. Add pasta sauce and heat to a boil. Spread 2 cups of meat sauce into prepared baking dish.
Mix ricotta and 1 cup mozzarella in a large bowl. Spread cheese mixture over each noodle.
Roll up noodles tightly. Place seam side down on top of the meat sauce in dish. Spoon the remaining sauce over rolls and sprinkle with parmesan. Bake rolls until heated through (about 30 minutes). Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and let stand for 5 minutes.

Garlic Bread
One loaf of French Bread, cut in half lengthwise.
Spread with this mixture: One cube of butter softened mixed with a little italian dressing (use the pkg. for making dressing) Don't use the whole thing. Can top with mozzarella shredded cheese & some parsley to make really good cheese bread. Enjoy!
