It seems like the new craze, “ Keto diet “ is working for people who want to loose weight. I work at a small store and see lots of the same people on an every day basis. A few mentioned, that they started this Keto diet and at times, they tell me they have had a hard time with it. At the beginning wanting to eat the wrong things but stuck with their journey on the Keto diet. After hearing their successes of loosing 8, 41 to 89 lbs. I’m like wow there really is something to this diet. My boss started this diet and when I asked her about it, she gave me a sheet of all the foods they can eat. Seems helpful enough but how do you know all the carbs you take in? Well look at a the nutritional facts label on packages to check on carbs and sugar. Keeping carbs at 20 g a day can be tricky.
You are needing to fuel your body with foods that burn the fat not the sugars you consume. Makes since. I really don’t have a sweet tooth this could work. So first shopping before getting serious about this diet I went to the Nature groceriers and bought Erythritol and Coconut powder.
I’ve read more. How do you start? A good question. Very slowly don’t change your whole diet over night or you will get the Keto flu! Keto flu? What’s that?
The Keto flu is caused by your body’s transition from burning sugar to burning fat for most of its energy needs. Switching from a high-carb diet to a very low-carb diet lowers insulin levels in your body. However losing a lot of water and sodium is responsible for many of the unpleasant symptoms of Keto flu.
