Sesame Chicken Wings

I tried this and it was really good. My children loved it.

3 lbs. chicken wings (I used chicken legs)
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup splenda sweetener
2 sliced green onion
2 Tbs. sesame seeds
1 tsp. bottled fresh garlic
Vegetable oil for deep frying

Directions:

Cut off and discard tips of chicken wings. Cut wings at joints to form two pieces.
Place in resealable plastic bag set in shallow dish.

In medium bowl stir together eggs, cornstarch, soy sauce, flour, sweetener, green onions, sesame seed, and garlic. Pour over wings in plastic bag. Seal bag. Marinate in refrigerator for 2 to 24 hours, turning occasionally.

Preheat oven to 300 f. Drain wings. Discard marinade. Fry chicken pieces, a few at a time, in vegetable oil heated to 365 f. until chicken is no longer pink. Drain on paper towels. Keep warm in oven while frying remaining chicken pieces.

Cache County Fair

Since I've been crocheting and making lots of stuff this year. I entered some of the stuff I made in the fair.
Thanks to Pat, I wouldn't have created any of this. So, off to the fair I go with my creations.
I received 6 blue ribbons and 1 red. I received $21.25 prize money and Riley is really glad I finished his John Deere colored afghan. I'm looking forward to making more stuff to enter next year. My Hello Kitty was a big hit. I am in need of making more of them. My daughters ran off with the blue ribbons. I was one sort for my picture. The girls loved going to the fair and looking at the stuff and eating cotton candy, and riding on the rides. The Fair, You got to love it!

Max Our Cat!

Max is a pretty good cat. He has been with us for over two years and has a routine all of his own. He sleeps during the day and when your in the kitchen he hears you and comes for food. You know those cute cupcake holders, I don't make cupcakes that often so it displays my cats food. Pictures please!

When it's night time he likes to go out and sit on the front steps and growl at anything going by. Good Kitty!

Crab Salad Artichoke

Here is a special recipe...
I was told by a friend this was good to eat during general conference.

You make Crab Salad & stuff a steammed artichoke! How good is that...

My crab salad consists of...
1 lb. crab flake crumbled up; add 2 stalks of chopped celery, add 1 carrot shredded, 2 small green onions chopped & 3 small scoops of mayo & 1 tsp. season salt & 1 tsp. sugar. Mix together. Refrigerate for an hour or so and steam 1 artichoke- stuff with a 1 tablespoon scoop on each leaf starting from the bottom so it opens up. Wonderful product. Serve, eat and enjoy!

When you eat it, pull from the bottom & bite slightly the end off where the artichoke meat is. Have a place to disgard the artichoke peels. This is really good!
